Property Management Committee Update – April 17, 2026

At their recent monthly meeting, the Property Management Committee reviewed a busy winter season and a full slate of spring and summer priorities. Winter operations were especially demanding, with approximately 2,400 driveway snow-clearing service visits completed.  Thanks to Terry and John for your responsive service these past few months.

The Committee addressed several important maintenance items, including replacement of the clubhouse furnace, continued hazardous tree removal along River Path and in Brewster Park, and safety-related improvements at the clubhouse and playground areas.

Looking ahead, the Committee approved sand removal work at Sun Beach to clear the parking lot and stairs before early May, while continuing discussions with the Environmental Committee on dune strategy, and vegetation planning. Other priorities for the coming weeks include planning for traffic calming measures at beach access points before the May long weekend, installing the “Daisy Doors” at Brewster Park and Sun Beach, moving ahead with beach access stair upgrades, and coordinating key capital and operational projects pending final budget approval.
