Property Management Committee Update – August 7, 2026

The Property Management Committee is reviewing the issue of vehicle speeds and pedestrian safety in the community.  With a focus on Pines Parkway, Lakeview and Shoreline Drive, where narrow roads, blind corners, seasonal traffic and the absence of sidewalks create shared-use concerns. 

Lambton Shores has provided the results of speed studies conducted in 2025 and plans to repeat the studies in 2026, including a review of Shoreline following its repaving and the removal of the speed bump traffic-calming devices.  The Committee will work cooperatively with municipal staff to encourage peak-season monitoring, gather basic information about local road conditions and review the new findings before recommending whether SPPA should pursue any measures with the Municipality or Council.
