Environmental Stewardship Committee Update – May 1, 2026

Beach Cleanup – Saturday May 2, 10:00 a.m. Meet at Sun Beach, Cherry Lane, or Maple Lane to prepare our beautiful beaches for another summer of fun, family, and friends. Bring gloves, and a rake – and a wheelbarrow, if it’s handy! You’ll be put to work but rewarded with refreshments (provided at Sun Beach). Families welcome. (Rain date Sunday, May 3)

On Earth Day, Kevin, Robin, Owen, Al, Doug, Dwayne, Bill, Josh and Terry planted Tulip, Hemlock, River Birch, and Oak trees along the river channel. Together, each small planting—whether in a backyard, along a path, or by the Channel—helps strengthen the natural beauty and ecological health of Southcott Pines. Let’s keep growing this good work, one native plant at a time.
