Environmental Stewardship Committee Update – May 15, 2026
Our Environmental Committee is pleased to share that a new pollinator garden has been established along the river path immediately south of Pathway 2.
The garden currently features six Prairie Smoke plants, with an additional delivery of native plants from ABCA expected at the end of May. Once planted, the garden will include a total of 36 native plants representing a variety of species selected specifically to support and attract diverse pollinators.
These native plantings will help create valuable habitat for bees, butterflies, and other beneficial insects, contributing to the health and biodiversity of our community’s natural spaces.
The Committee is also hopeful to expand this initiative with a second pollinator garden next year.
