Board of Director’s Update – May 29, 2026

As part of SPPA’s commitment to the Financial Stewardship pillar of our Strategic Plan, the Board is reviewing how certain operational services may best be delivered in the years ahead.  This review is focused on two service areas:  Property Management Services for common grounds and selected seasonal services, and Common Area Handyman & Clubhouse Facilities Services for clubhouse maintenance, minor repairs, and related support work.  This is a normal part of responsible planning and is intended to help the Board better understand service options, pricing, and long-term value to the community.  In the interest of transparency, the Board also wants members to know that no decisions have been made about moving to an outsourced model, and no decision has been made regarding current staff.  The Board expects to continue its review over the coming months and will communicate further with members before any decisions are made.  At this stage, SPPA is simply gathering information so that any future decisions can be made thoughtfully, fairly, and in the best interests of the Association.
