Board of Directors Update – July 24, 2026

At its July 20 meeting, the Board approved updated Committee Terms of Reference and adopted the new SPPA Privacy Practices Policy. The Board also completed the review of the Beach and Laneway Access and Management Program promised at the AGM and confirmed that the program will continue for the balance of the 2026 season, with clearer access procedures, stronger privacy controls, improved supervision and an end-of-season report.

The Board also confirmed the continuation of SPPA’s in-house property management model, approved Stage 1 of the Clubhouse Revitalization initiative, supported further exploration of a community carp fishing derby, and reviewed financial and operational reports.
