Property Management Committee Update
The Property Management Committee oversees the maintenance and protection of all SPPA properties, pathways, and structures. Working with our Property and Office Managers, the committee ensures upkeep, coordinates improvements, and keeps members informed about property management activities.
Fall is a very busy time for the SPPA Property Management team. Our top priority was the Fall Leaf Pick-Up Program, and this year it went very well.
Even with road paving on Shoreline and Beaver Dam, every SPPA home received three leaf pick-ups between mid-October and the end of December. The team collected more than 100 loads of leaves, including many that were hidden under early snow. These leaves are now stored at the SPPA Works Yard and will be moved to county composting sites over the winter.
The Property Management Committee thanks our team of Terry Brown, John Walsh and the Hotson brothers for their commitment to ensuring an awesome member experience this pick-up season. We also thank all members for their cooperation and help in making this program a success. We’ll be back in April with our spring leaf pick-up to help everyone get ready for the new season.
Next up: delivery of our community driveway snow removal service! Let it snow! 🙂
