Pinedale Culvert Improvement Project Completion

The Pinedale Culvert Improvement Project has now been completed.

The project included the design, fabrication, and installation of a new water control gate that will allow for more effective regulation of water levels of the Old Ausable Channel within Southcott Pines. In addition, the improvements provide a safer and more convenient passage for watercraft navigating around the Pinedale culvert.

This project was made possible through grant funding received from the Sunset Community Foundation, along with the efforts of dedicated volunteers who assisted with planning, coordination, and installation.

The completed project represents an important investment in both the management of our waterways and the continued enjoyment of our community’s recreational amenities.
