Beach Committee Update – July 24, 2026

A Great Start to Summer at Southcott Beach
Summer is off to a fantastic start at Sun Beach. The beach has been busy, the weather has been beautiful, and it has been wonderful to see neighbours, families, and guests enjoying this special community asset.

We would like to thank everyone for helping make the new beach pass system such a seamless success. The transition has been smooth, and that is largely due to the patience, cooperation, and positive attitude of property owners and guests. We also extend our appreciation to our Beach Ambassadors, who continue to provide assistance, answer questions, and help ensure a positive experience for everyone.

As a reminder, all Southcott Pines Beaches remain a no-dogs beach, consistent with long-standing rules and local bylaws. While we know pets are valued members of many families, keeping dogs off the beach helps maintain a safe, clean, and enjoyable environment for all users.

We also encourage everyone to continue showing courtesy and respect to fellow beachgoers. Simple actions such as keeping pathways clear, removing litter, respecting others’ space, and following posted guidelines help preserve the welcoming atmosphere that makes Sun Beach so special.
